Google Drive Cloud Storage With 5GB Free

Google Drive is a file storage and sync service by Google that was released on April 24, 2012. The service will integrate with Google Docs and will allow you to access files from anywhere and collaborate on documents with colleagues. Google Drive is an extension of Google Docs once activated, and replaces the URL docs.google.com with drive.google.com.

Google’s biggest competitor in this field is Dropbox, which currently offers 2 GB of free storage to users. One interesting feature of the service is smart tagging, which allows you to tag items stored on your drive. So if you have uploaded a picture of the Taj Mahal to your drive, the next time you perform a search for the Taj, your photo will show up along with other results.

What Is Google Wave?

Google Wave is a project announced by Google at the Google I/O conference on May 28, 2009. Encrypted Google Search

Google was changing the default search engine at least for some users to Google encrypted search. Whenever these users search they are automatically redirected to https://encrypted.google.com instead of the standard Google search address. Encrypted search, often referred to as Google SSL, improves the protection against some attack forms that spy on a computer’s traffic. SSL search is only enabled on some Google properties. Google images and Google Maps for instance are available over SSL currently.
